Turkey family in Tranquility driveway

Deer at Tranquility

Hi Atticus,

See the fawn and her mother on our driveway? The last picture shows the baby deer nursing from her mother.

Today is Papa's best friends 71 st birthday. We are taking Vince to dinner tonight. Papa's knee still hurts so he uses a cane and can not walk far. Last night we sat on the deck and looked at planets and stars. We even saw 2 satellites moving across the night sky.

How are the puppies? Love, Grandma

Liquor filled chocolate

I tried to make liquor filled chocolate today. It was not as easy as the lady at Jim Beam distillery In Kentucky lead me to believe. I sure did lick my fingers a lot.

I turned aside and realized the reason I go to the cabin is for the deck and outside. That is where I am now..... At peace.

Features of Accord we bought today

Did you see the outside temperature on the speedometer dial?  (spotted by Vince :>)

Honda Accord has new model shape in 2013... Lots of cameras to back up and blind spot camera .  Performance wheels and spare tire donut.  Bluetooth that downloads all from my cell.  Just carry the keys in pocket and car opens automatically.  Pandora, iPod and other stuff on screens..  Temperature and compass .  Heated seats.  Memory seat positions with 10 driver adjustments for lumbar, etc,  Lane drifting warning.  We can lower camera view to back out of cabin drive or check for toddler or into our parking space in carport.  Dual airconditioner and back vent.

We got it at grandpa Dan's Honda dealer in Dublin.  Traded in the Hyundai.
Having champagne now...life is good.

July 12

Hi Atticus,

Here is a picture of Dashiell in his custom for. Show he is doing. We had dinner with Nancy and Ed at his restaurant in San Francisco. In the afternoon we took a tour to look at gardens in office buildings. One building is blue and gold for CAL...it was their headquarters when it was built. It was the first building ever that was supported in the center so glass windows could go around the sides. At the end we went to see a famous singer and sat right behind him.
