Old Delhi rickshaw

We were in Delhi also in 1985 with kids and 2008 just after Judy retired.
It really has not changed much in Old Delhi.

A girl was in a box and they put a bunch of snakes in with her. A guy then had to remove as many as possible using only his mouth in a certain time limit. Thought of survivor show.

First night in Delhi... Interesting TV? Bollywood and other over dramatic soap operas. Time to read.

Arrived in India

We arrived in Delhi after 3 long plane rides with Singapore Air. Almost missed last connection from Singapore but they held the plane and met us with a speedy golf cart to get us to the gate ...at 2 AM!

Octopus and Korean beef were dinner choices and watched international films. The Danish Girl, Carol and the Rams.

Arranged before we hit crowd for taxi to hotel. Only $11. Reminded us of 1985 with offering to grab luggage.

Packing underpants

Well, Ladies…. I leave tomorrow morning… Decided to share my opposite view from Katie… pack all you can even though the internal Indian flights limit to 33 lbs/ 12 lb handcarry.

I do NOT wash undies on trips… AND do not like to have underpants drying around my hotel room in the evening. SO I packed 29 pairs of undies. Since I am wearing mainly light colored pants in the 100 degree heat, I am leaving most of my darker colors at home…. See the drawer. All of them take up less room than a sweater… and the tour company will be carrying my luggage anyway.

I still have the dark ones at home in my drawer.

I put them all in a bag to tuck into the corner of my suitcase.

Total weight is 2.1 pounds… WORTH It.

Now I have to do socks… which take up more room than panties… BUT I am wearing sandals much of time in India… I needed to take my green St. Pat's day socks for March 17th!
