Macao ferry to Hong Kong

The new jet boats take only an hour. Last time we did this was the summer of 1973 after meeting Rick & Nani. We stayed only 15 minutes because of a typhoon warning, but R and N stayed a memorable night.


There was only 1 casino then but in 2005 China allowed the Las Vegas people to bring in more. Now there are 40 and they are filling in harbor to build more. Mainly mainland newly rich Chinese come to gamble

Lock of 3 gorges dam. It took our ship about 3 hours to go through 5 locks. They have an elevator with water for small ships that takes 45 minutes.
